Then all of a sudden royal Mori are being beaten with burns and cuts and bruises. What is going on? Is Roses fate to kill the man she loves with all her heart? But does that mean she has to lose Lissa? This book has a great conflict, i couldn't stop reading.

Zoey and her group are back at the tunnels. They are being bused to school every day and their lives are starting to become a little normal. But everything changes when Nefert's creature Aurox shows up. Will Zoey she the truth in him? Can Dragon Lankford forgive Rephaim for the horrible thing he did? It may seem like the end but it isn't over yet. This book is a little predictable but it is still one of the best books in the house of night series.

But the high council doesn't belive them that he is pure evil. Kalona then causes a horrible death of one of Zoeys beloved friends. When Zoey puts all her spirit is a ball and hurls its at Kalona she loses everything including her life. Stark her warrior feels the most responsible about this event . How will he save her without him dying? This book ending is such a cliffhanger. It starts off slow but ends good
